Goan chicken cutlets

Crispy fried chicken steak a very popular street food in Goa.The finely sliced chicken breast fillets is tenderised by using a meat mallet,marinated with spices,dipped in whisked egg,coated with semolina and then fried until crispy. it can be served with pao(bread)or eaten as a side dish on a main meal or as a snack.



Ingredients:

👉400 gms chicken breast fillets

👉salt to taste

👉1 egg

👉1 cup semolina

👉oil for frying


Grind to paste:

👉1 tsp cumin seeds

👉4 tbsp Vinegar

👉15 black pepper corns

👉2''ginger

👉5 to 6 cloves of garlic

👉10 cloves

👉1''Cinnamon

👉1/2 tsp turmeric powder

👉4 green chillies


Method:

👉In a blender grind the above mentioned ingredients which says grind to paste. if necessary add a little water if too thick,when done remove it in bowl and keep it aside.


👉Wash the chicken fillets and tenderzise the fillets by using a meat mallet,marinate the chicken with the above ground masala paste and some salt for half hour.keep it aside.


👉In a bowl add in an egg and whisk it with some salt, in a plate add in semolina dip the marinated cutlet in the whisked egg and coat it with semolina.

Heat up a frying pan add in 3 tbsp oil on a medium flame shallow fry the coated meat for 5 to 7 mins flipping both the sides. your delicious chicken cutlet is ready to eat.

👉Enjoy it with bread or on rice as a side dish on the main meal or as an appetiser.
