Lamb and spinach curry

When my family says the curry is excellent then I feel my experiments on curries are successful so just taught of sharing the recipe.The curry is made by dry roasting some spices ground with coriander leaves touch of mint leaves to finish it with,I added fresh spinach. Do have a look at the recipe and try it yourself

lamb and spinach curry


👉650 grams lamb on bones(cut into medium pieces)

👉3 medium finely chopped onions

👉1 medium finely chopped tomato

👉1 tsp Garam masala

👉1 bunch chopped spinach

👉1 lime

👉2 tbsp oil

👉salt to taste

Dry roast:

👉5 peppercorns

👉1/2 tsp jeera

👉2 cardamom

👉3 Cloves

👉1/2 inch Cinnamon

👉1/4 tsp Coriander seeds

Dry Roast the above ingredients on a pan when cool Grind it with 👇

👉1/2 inch Ginger

👉4 cloves of Garlic

👉1/2 bunch coriander leaves

👉3 mint leaves

👉1/4 tsp turmeric

👉2 green chillies


👉Wash the lamb and season with salt and lime Apply the ground paste to the lamb and set it for an hour for marination.

👉When done heat up a pot add in 2 tbsp oil when hot add in onions sauté for 2 mins then add in chopped tomatoes let it turn mushy.

👉Now put the marinated lamb combine everything together on high heat let it cook for 5 mins.with the lid open,add in garam masala and keep stirring it so that the masala folds in properly.

👉Then add a cup of water and salt to taste and close the lid and let it cook on a low flame for 15 to 20. open the lid and check whether the lamb is cooked.

👉last add the washed and chopped spinach and let it cook for 2 to 3 mins and the delicious curry is done garnish with some finely sliced ginger

👉enjoy with chapatis rotis or rice
