Goan prawn puffs

Ingredients:
For the filling:
👉300gms prawns, peeled,cleaned chopped fine
👉1 tbsp oil
👉1 large onion, finely chopped
👉1 medium chopped tomato
👉1 green chili, finely chopped
👉1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
👉1/2 tsp turmeric powder
👉1/2 tsp cumin powder
👉1/4 tsp red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
👉1/2 tsp garam masala
👉Few fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
For the pastry:
👉1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought)
👉1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling
👉Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
👉Add the ginger-garlic paste, and green chili and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
👉Add the tomato fry until mushy
👉Stir in the turmeric, cumin powder,red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well to combine.
👉Add the chopped prawns to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until they are cooked through
👉Season with salt and stir in chopped coriander leaves. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
2.Assemble the Puffs:
👉Preheat your oven on 200 C
👉Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
👉Cut 24 small circles with a cookie cutter of a 2.5” each Place the circle in the tartlet mould and fill with the prawn filling. To seal, lightly apply egg wash on the outer edge of the circle. Cover with the other disc.
👉Brush tops with egg wash. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until puffed and golden brown. When cool,Remove from mould and serve.
